Meet Our Seattle Dog Walkers

After moving to Seattle I started Trails and Tails (almost ten years ago!) in 2016.   I embraced the joy of daily adventures spent playing with, walking alongside, and caring for dogs. As Trails and Tails flourished, I had the pleasure of welcoming fellow pet professionals to our team, individuals who share my deep passion for exploring the beauty of our state in the company of your cherished companions.
 
At the heart of our service is a commitment to tailoring each walk to your dog's specific needs. We recognize the unique requirements of both dogs and their owners. Whether your energetic pup needs to burn off some steam or requires focused attention on training and manners, we are here to provide the support you're looking for.
Our aim is to cultivate a positive, transparent, and effortless partnership with both your beloved dog and you, their owner. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any inquiries you may have. I am always available and eager to assist in any way I can. I personally walk in all our service areas - Madison Park, Central District, South Lake Union (SLU), Madrona, Columbia City, Beacon Hill, Eastlake and Capitol Hill. Thank you!

Hello! I’m Daniel, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with your little one. Since 2017, I have had the pleasure of being a full time Dog walker, pet sitter, in capitol hill and occasionally dog hiker out side of the city! This has combed my deep passion for animals with a love for the outdoors.

Having grown up with dogs of various breeds and sizes, I have a respect and affection for animals. This lifelong connection motivates me to contribute positively to the dog community by keeping your pup active, happy, and engaged. Whether your dog enjoys a calm stroll or an energetic hike, I am committed to providing the high-quality care and stimulating experiences they deserve. I grew up in Capitol Hill Seattle, and have been walking through all the dog-friendly green spaces since 2019.

Having a few dogs of my own (including a shy senior) has really helped me appreciate how unique each individual is, with their endearing quirks and traits- just like people!

My name is Keith. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting professionally in the Central District since 2012. I take pride in giving each animal that I take care of love and attention. I want to make the world a better place for every dog and cat, like they do for us.Ironically given my line of work, I grew up in a household where both of my parents had pet allergies. I always treasured the time I got to spend around the much beloved dogs and cats of my extended family, and if anything, this experience strengthened my love of all creatures big and small. I’ve always had a deep fondness for animals. ​

With a deep love for canine companionship, in 2023 Jackson decided to leave the work in the restaurant industry world behind to pursue his true calling. Jackson spends his days joyfully exploring the outdoors with furry friends, creating lasting bonds with the dogs he cares for, and bringing a sense of happiness to both pets and their owners alike. His decision to pursue his passion has not only transformed his life but has also brought boundless joy to the four-legged companions he walks throughout Capitol Hill and Eastlake in Seattle.  Jackson has loved his time dog walking with Trails and Tails spending his days with puppy friends throughout the city.

At the same time, I am incredibly structured and diligent about following your specific routines, commands, and walking strategies. Whether your dog is working on leash manners, reactivity, or just loves a specific route, I've got it covered.
When I am not hanging out with my furry friends, you can usually find me exploring the great outdoors, hiking, and staying active with my family and friends. I am entirely dedicated to giving your dog the best, safest, and most fun experience possible while giving you total peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet your pup!

​As a passionate dog enthusiast, I excel at building strong bonds with every canine I encounter. With experience handling a wide range of dogs, from lively youngsters to gentle seniors, I’m skilled in addressing their specific needs and celebrating their distinct personalities. My professional journey includes extensive time as a doggie daycare attendant and bather, where I also performed light grooming tasks like nail trims.

Ensuring the well-being and contentment of the dogs in my care is my top priority. My approach to dog walking is marked by dependability, punctuality, and a sincere dedication to animals. I’m eager to meet your dog and provide them with exceptional care!  I mostly walk in South Lake Union, and a bit in Capitol Hill Seattle.

As an avid lover of all animals, I feel very blessed to spend time with every dog I get to walk. Each animal is unique and has their own personality, and I love to figure that out and build friendships with them around that. 

I've had the pleasure of owning many animals all my life and have years of experience in pet sitting and dog walking. I have a special place in my heart for nervous or reactive pets, and I will always try to win them over no matter how long it takes! Additionally, I find a lot of fulfillment in helping reinforce training for dogs that might be more reactive. I think it's super fun and rewarding, and also keeps your dog enriched and happy!

Over the years, I’ve had hands-on experience caring for dogs in a variety of settings, including dog sitting and dog walking, which has allowed me to understand the unique needs of each pup. I’m especially comfortable working with shyer or more reserved dogs and take pride in helping them feel safe, relaxed, and confident in my care. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy making sure every walk is both fun and enriching, while always prioritizing your dog’s safety and well-being. I’m dedicated to providing attentive, reliable care and treating every dog as if they were my own.
