Unleash your dog's inner explorer with Trails and Tails Dog Walking's comprehensive 60-minute adventures in the heart of Seattle! Perfect for active dogs or those needing a longer break during their day.  During these hour long walks your pup will make their way around the city and spend time in our gorgeous parks. Our experienced Seattle-based walkers ensure a safe, engaging, and enriching hour of physical activity and mental stimulation, allowing your pup to fully stretch their legs, sniff out exciting scents, and soak in the sights of our local landscapes. Give your furry companion the gift of an hour of outdoor bliss, returning home happily tired, mentally stimulated, and ready for a cozy evening.

Our 60-minute dog walking service is designed for dogs who thrive with extended time outdoors. Whether your dog has high energy, needs extra mental stimulation, or simply enjoys a longer, unhurried walk, this option provides a full hour of dedicated one-on-one time with an experienced walker. This is our most comprehensive walking service, ideal for pets who benefit from physical activity combined with a calm, focused routine.  A one-hour walk offers more than just exercise—it allows your dog the time and space to fully engage with their environment. For active breeds or younger dogs with plenty of energy, a 60-minute outing helps prevent restlessness, reduces unwanted behaviors, and supports overall health. The extended length also gives us the flexibility to walk at a relaxed pace, which can be beneficial for senior dogs or those recovering from injury who still need to stay mobile without being rushed.

During each 60-minute walk, we tailor the experience to your dog’s individual needs. We select safe, familiar routes and adjust our pace and environment based on your dog’s comfort level, health, and temperament. Walks may include park visits, quiet residential areas, or varied terrain, depending on what suits your dog best. This service also provides valuable mental stimulation. With a full hour to explore, your dog has more time to encounter new scents, sights, and sounds, which helps build confidence and supports cognitive health. Longer walks can be especially helpful for dogs who experience separation anxiety, as they return home tired and more relaxed. In many cases, a consistent walking schedule can improve sleep patterns and overall behavior inside the home.

Our 60-minute walks are available throughout Seattle neighborhoods, including Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, Central District, Madison Park, Madrona, and Eastlake. If you’re located nearby but outside of these areas, feel free to reach out—we may still be able to accommodate your request based on our scheduling availability.
